Residential funding goal reached!

The Wonderful Things team have been overwhelmed by the support offered to them in their latest fundraising efforts.  Husena Islam and Kate Crane have been busy raising funds for a residential trip for some of the Youth Volunteers who support the Wonderful Things project based at St Mary’s CE Primary in Rawtenstall.  The residential trip has been arranged to reward volunteers who have gone above and beyond what would be asked of a Youth Volunteer and have shown great potential.  It is hoped that the trip, which leaves on Friday 1st May, will build even better relationships between the volunteers and give them all a Wonderful Things type experience of their own!  (Watch out for reports of the trip here and on social media!)

The whole trip has been funded by grants, fundraising and the generosity of businesses and individuals.  A recent appeal for items to raffle and auction resulted in donations valuing over £650 the majority of which came from our local community and the events raised over that amount.

We would particularly like to thank the following:  (Where possible we have added links to all our supporters’ web presence – just click on their name!)
